First Year at Westside High School

I had a great year.

I started my third district this school year and it has been a success to say the least. I once again gained new skills when teaching and working with students. Some of my momentous moments came when my high school students working at the elementary schools got interviewed by the local news. I also got invited to attend the NETA conference held right here in Omaha. I'm a little worried where technology is going but I guess it is just business as usual. Another staff member and I are in the process of starting a culinary club for students at WS next fall.

Finishing my culminating project for grad school this spring was relief. I couldnt have done it without my wife Emily. I have met some interesting teachers in grad. school with some very inivative ideas about teaching. I also had a blast teaching Human Behavior this Spring, I learned a great deal from my students. My Human Behavior students were the inspiration of creating this forum.

So far so good.
